...from climbing up them. I have no idea if the attackers can climb up the wall and begin to deal damage to the defenders while still appearing in the grasslands right beside the wall, or if they have to actually get onto the wall. I really hope it`s the former. If you need to get onto the wall squares, then it would be impossible to defeat a defending army unless you have more attacking armies than they have defending armies as they can, if micromanaged properly, stay in the attackers` way and not suffer any damage whatsoever. The defender also has like half a minute to move their army a square or 2 over since it takes a while for an attacker to climb a wall. It`s also easier for the defenders to move their armies from one side of their wall area to the other; the attackers have to go around the wall to get to the other side. That said, I`m not sure if there`s any actual use for skirmishes {or any battles that doesn`t involve the wall, for that matter} except for the lolz, and again, not quite sure if the water and mountains are going to do anything but be in the way and make you manually move your units around them.

I wish the group select buttons weren`t actual spots on the battlefield. I`ve had quite a few instances where I made some sort of mistake just trying to send armies a-h {I believe} to the center of the city and back since that`s the least frustrating way I`ve found so far, only to send them, or my entire army, to the top left corner instead. It`d also be nice if there was an indicator to show what you`ve currently selected, so if I forget I had selected a-h and go to select an individual army, I don`t accidentally send a-h towards that army. Also, a cancel selection button would be nice too.

Having armies in a city makes the icon representing the city appear larger, and as such, the name of the city becomes more readable. A lot of times, though, the name of the city runs off into ellipses, which feels weird. And having seen a large majority of these city icons enlarged due to the ~phantom army~ bug I`ve mentioned earlier, the icons could be a bit bigger. The largest view of the map is useful since you can scroll to pretty much anywhere you want hastily, but in that view it can be hard to read city names that aren`t enlarged. Since there aren`t any actual coordinates of these cities, we can`t go around calling Zigui 13x24 like we did here.

I wish the game`s discussion, diplomacy, and kingdom boards or whatever lied beyond that ~Chad~ button weren`t a Facebook group or something. Personally, I don`t have a Facebook and I`m usually uncomfortable sharing so many details about myself online. Yeah, there are other ways to communicate with my team, but that brings up another problem. Who are my allies and enemies? I could only identify myself and other players as ~some group of armies or something.~ I don`t think I had any means of finding out the name of that one other player who had joined my kingdom while I was out conquering China.

I`m interested in the idea of splitting up your armies and sending them in different directions during a battle. However, like the old 3k game before it, the mobile version encourages you to keep your armies together. You deal more damage per scoring cycle with 8 armies than you do with only 1. I`m not sure why I would want to split my armies unless you have more than 8 {since you can`t have more than 8 in a square at a time} or if you`re a defender trying to prevent yourself from taking any damage from an attacking army by hoarding wall squares {again, not sure if this works}.

The game also updates in 5-second ~scoring cycles,~ which I also like. People with fast internet don`t completely annihilate people with slower internet when they should be on rather equal grounds, or something like that. I do wonder how many instances will happen where two players kill each other at the same time, though.
So, I`ve gone and singlehandedly won one of the rounds on the mobile version.
